Our client asked us to refurbish and rejuvenate the detailed exterior of their family home in Balham, south London.
The terraced houses facade had decayed after years of neglect, and the new owners were keen to restore it to its original glory.
To renovate the exterior, we carved and installed new sections of plinth and cornice stone above the ground floor window and porch. We also undertook indent and specialist mortar repairs.
We refurbished the arched sections of stone above the porch and first floor window, and the front gables coping stones and finial with stone sphere.
We also built new stone steps and laid new paving.
This was a phased project and we worked alongside the client to assist with managing costs while their builder refurbished the interior.
The pathway and steps were the final part of the installation process and we’re proud of the high level of finish we have achieved.
Our client was also delighted and has since contacted us about further works to the rear garden.
