Bay window restoration and rebuild services

The London Stonemasonry team have restored and replaced hundreds of bay windows over the years. We offer the full package. We repair, restore and replace stonework to the highest level of finish and craftsmanship. We work on bay and stone mullion windows from all periods, including: Georgian, Victorian, and Edwardian.

Brickwork restoration and repair

We offer a full range of brick restoration, lime mortar pointing, paint removal, damaged brick replacement, brick cleaning, brick pointing, stone cleaning and restoration services. We work for both residential homeowners and commercial clients. To achieve the highest level of finish we employ a complete in-house team of stone masons, master bricklayers, carpenters, renderers, lead workers and decorators who all have years of experience.

Carving stone and bespoke creations

In the London Stonemasonry workshop, our stonemasons hand-work and carve every type of architectural element. We carve stone bay window mullions, capital stones, lintels and sills, stone finials, string courses, apex stones, springer stones, and bespoke and one-off creations such as huge Portland stone urns and surrounds

Porticos and ballustrades

We design, carve, cast, create and install stone ballustrades and porticos. See an example of new stone balustrades we created and installed to a home in Holland Park, London, W11. We created the front baluster plinth, balusters and coping. A portico is an attractive type of classical porch, supported by columns, that frames the entrance to a building and enhances its appearance. London Stonemasonry are trusted facade contractors for commercial, historic and residential building restoration projects. Our in-house team offers the full range of stone and facade restoration services. Our stonemasons are experts in structural repairs, crack repairs and brick restoration, through to small indents and mortar repairs using traditional methods. We also offer: hand worked and carved architectural and structural stonework, letter-carving and sculpture, brickwork, walling, pointing, render and decoration.

Stone steps and paving

London Stonemasonrys Stone Steps and Paving team have their own website that features examples of their work. Our specialist steps and paving team include stonemasons, master brick layers, renderers and master metal fabricators. We offer the full package; steps, paving and metal work.
We manufacture, supply and install all traditional British limestones and sandstones. When replacing steps, our offer includes brickwork, rendering, water proofing and decoration.
